Mr. Richard Carr is the newly appointed Vice President of Administration for Citygate Associates LLC, located in Folsom, California. Richard recently retired as the former Vice President of the Western Region for Sears Holding, Kmart Division. While at Sears he led a multi-level change team during the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process, which reinvented how a store operates internally. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Monfort School of Business at the University of Northern Colorado specializing in accounting and management. Mr. Carr has over 35 years experience in retail management and has served in the Store Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, Regional Merchandise Director, Regional Marketing Director and Vice President Roles during his career at Sears. He has also worked for GEICO, Kennametal and Gardner-Denver prior to his retail career. Rick is highly involved in the Character First! management development program at Citygate.
